Peter Obi: Tinubu Supporters Now Selling Kuli-Kuli After Business Collapse
Former Anambra State Governor and Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi has claimed that many Nigerians who backed President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 election and owned thriving businesses before his administration have been reduced to selling kuli-kuli, a popular fried snack, to survive.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo published Wednesday, Obi argued that the hardship under Tinubu has shattered the optimism of those who voted for him based on his past record. He said the movement that supported his own presidential bid has not shrunk but grown, as Nigerians confront the reality of governance under the current administration.
