How does camping work in the WoW Forever beta?
Early in your leveling adventure, you will unlock a side quest that teaches the basics of camping. As an Undead player, I encountered this on the way to Brill, in a quest called The Great Outdoors. The task was simple: sit by a campfire until a timer ended. But the real depth comes from the Cooking profession, which you must learn to create campfires, the foundation of the camping experience.
Once you have a campfire, you can place profession-specific items at your camp or at others' camps. These items grant buffs or utilities to anyone nearby, making campsites valuable hubs for group play. The system also opens doors for roleplay and casual gatherings, turning the humble cooking fire into a social anchor.
What buff does each profession offer at a campsite in WoW Forever?
As you progress in your professions, you unlock higher tier campfires and placeable items. There are at least four tiers of campfire, from Basic Campfire to Iron Oven.
