The Guyana Police Force (GPF), continuing its strong commitment to sports development, has equipped its boxing team with vital new gear ahead of the Terrence Poole National Intermediate Boxing Championships.
Deputy Commissioner Ravindradat Budhram presented the equipment on Tuesday at the Police Sports Club ground, demonstrating the Force's ongoing dedication to athletic excellence. The GPF's successful sports program has been expanding across multiple disciplines.
Championship Preparations Underway
Head Coach Dexter Marques, a veteran national boxer, received the equipment on behalf of the team. The championships are scheduled for October 25-27 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, with the Police Force athletes showing promising form in recent competitions.
