The Guyana Police Force (GPF) Sports Section received a significant boost in its athletic programs through a comprehensive sports equipment donation from Regal Stationery and Computer Centre on Friday. This major equipment contribution aims to enhance both indoor and outdoor sports activities within the force.
Comprehensive Sports Equipment Donation
The donation ceremony took place at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary, where Regal Sports Manager Ian John presented the equipment to Deputy Commissioner 'Administration' Ravindradat Budhram. The contribution includes gear for multiple sports disciplines:
- Boxing and combat sports equipment
- Cricket and football gear
- Basketball equipment, supporting the growing interest in the sport
- Volleyball and badminton supplies
- Table tennis equipment and board games
